Monday

We've had a good day here at Northwestern. My dad continues to improve each day. Right now as I sit in his hospital room, he is smiling and his eyes are bright as Pastor Nelson talks with him. We are truly in the midst of a miracle.

Prayer Requests:
Please continue to pray for healing.

For fluid to leave his lungs.

For his ability to breathe on his own so that he can get off the ventilator.

For the continued wisdom and patience of the doctors and nurses.

For my mom tonight, as she goes home for the first time.

  1. Our prayers today are full of praise for the healing that has already happened. And we will continue to pray for progress, for clear and healthy lungs, and with thankful hearts for talented and compassionate medical professionals. And for Susan, we humbly pray for uninterrupted and restorative sleep tonight, in her own bed. Peace to all of you!

  6. Dear Sue,

Bet it was terrific sleeping at your own home tonight. I pray that it won't be long before Dwight is back home sleeping in his own bed, too. I think about you and your family all of the time and pray for continued healing for Dwight and a swift return to a "normal rountine" in the lives of everyone in your family.
    Love, Davida
